Glenn Fleishman: Wireless and Macworld
Posted March 6, 2003, 10:37am
Are you sick and tired of fumbling around with a hornet's nest of wires and cables? If so, then you would have loved our February 12 Main Meeting: "Getting Started in Wireless Networking".
Seattle Times, Macintosh Columnist and Wireless Guru, expounded upon the wonders of going wireless in an all-too-wired world. Glenn also filled us in on what he saw and heard at this year's Macworld San Francisco.
Glenn talked about his new book, the Wireless Starter Kit, which he co-authored with former dBug member Adam Engst. Adam and Glenn have created a companion website to go with the book, www.wireless-starter-kit.com. If you'd like to purchase a copy of Glenn's book, see our convenient link to it at Amazon.com on the left.
It was an evening of fun, Mac camaraderie, and wireless inspiration. Many great items were raffled off at this free event. Several new members signed up -- but don't worry if you missed the meeting, the membership door is still open!
dBug is very grateful to the Seattle Times for letting us use their auditorium for this event. It was a wonderful venue.
