iLife '09 Class

iLife '09Presented by Mark Linsey
When: 12:30 - 3:30pm on Saturday, May 16, 2009
Where: dBug Resource Center

Having Fun With iLife '09 -- Whether you are just curious about iLife '09 and want to know more before getting started, or are currently using the products but want to know how to get more out of iLife's many many features this class is for you. We will cover the basics of getting started with each of the applications, work flow for organization, and the synergies of using iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, and iWeb together. This will be an interactive presentation where Mark Linsey, the class instructor will cover the stages of producing a home movie from concept and production to uploading the finished project to a YouTube video or MobileMe gallery. Along the way we will use iPhoto to manage your photos and produce a slideshow. We'll get a taste of the many ways to get creative using GarageBand including editing the soundtrack for our movie. We'll also produce a personal website for friends and family using iWeb.

Questions or features of particular interest from participants are welcome and can be submitted in advance by emailing the class coordinator. Participants are encouraged to bring a few personal photos, videos, or music to use as part of our class project as time allows. Personal media should be clearly marked and be brought to class on a CD or USB memory which can be returned at the end of class.

The class will be held at the dBug Resource Center on Saturday, May 16, from 12:30-3:30pm. Please plan to arrive by 12:15pm to sign in as the class will begin promptly at 12:30pm.
