Basic Animation Techniques Workshop

A Technical Imaging Workshop by Gus Frederick
When: 10am - 4pm on Sunday, November 12, 2006
Where: dBug Resource Center

Gus Frederick, a professional in the film and video industry for over 30 years, will show how to do traditional animation using today's technology.

The Art of Animation was spawned from the birth of moving images, around the turn of the last century. Since then the tools to capture the individual pictures that comprise what we know as a "cartoon" have grown from balky film cameras to video and finally to computers. Making use of the computer's advantages to capture images electronically, coupled with modern digital still cameras, this workshop explores how to use these new tools to accomplish old tricks.

Register Now! Seating is limited. Please click this link to register for the event through Kagi, or register with your name and e-mail address via this link and pay at the door (please show up early if you want to pay at the door). The $60 tuition helps to support dBug.
